1225 Christmas Tree Lane
by Debbie Macomber

Published September 27, 2011 by MIRA

The people of Cedar Cove know how to celebrate Christmas. Like Grace and Olivia and everyone else, Beth Morehouse expects this Christmas to be one of her best. Her small Christmas-tree farm is prospering, her daughters and her dogs are happy and well, and her new relationship with local vet Ted Reynolds is showing plenty of romantic promise.

But…someone recently left a basket filled with puppies on her doorstep, puppies she's determined to place in good homes. That's complication number one. And number two is that her daughters Bailey and Sophie have invited their dad, Beth's ex-husband, Kent, to Cedar Cove for Christmas. The girls have visions of a mom-and-dad reunion dancing in their heads.

As always in life—and in Cedar Cove—there are surprises, too. More than one family's going to have a puppy under the tree. More than one scheme will go awry. And more than one romance will have a happy ending!

The 12th and final installment in Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Grove Series, 1225 Christmas Tree Lane is all that a dedicated fan could hope for and more!

Beth Moorehouse is well on the road to establishing a new life and finding new romance.  After her divorce, she left California and her ex behind and bought a Christmas Tree Farm in the beautiful, quaint community of Cedar Grove.  Although she misses her daughters who are attending college in California, she is looking forward to their visit this Christmas.  With ten Labrador mix puppies that were abandoned on her doorstep to find homes for and the bustle of the busy Christmas Season she has plenty on her plate.

Her daughters Bailey and Sophie have decided that this ridiculous divorce has gone on long enough and begin scheming to bring their parents back together.  Their manipulations result in their father Kent visiting for Christmas and bringing an unexpected guest... another woman!  Misunderstandings ensue, including the local veterinarian’s interest in Beth.

Of course, the spirit of Christmas and the fellowship of Cedar Grove bring about the anticipated reunion of Beth and Kent.  In the process we are given a final, nostalgic glimpse into all of our favorite characters' lives along with the satisfaction of knowing they are all doing as well as we had hoped.

Thank you Debbie Macomber for the wonderful early Christmas gift!  Cedar Grove – we will miss you!!!
