Lucy Hale for Lena!! She's small, has black hair & green eyes already, and she's an amazing actress! This is the role she was born to play, I really hope she gets cast, it would make the movie that much better!

Logan Lerman is too short to play Ethan. In the books he is 6'2" and Logan is only 5'8".

Lucy Hale would be perfect as Lena. I like the other choices posted here.

I don't care for Ethan or Lena or Link or Ridley... I can see Lucy Hale as Lena but I feel like it should be someone less "popular" than her. India Eisley is who I was imagining while I was reading it. Maybe Phoebe Tonkin.

As for Ridley, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (she's a model and I know she was in Transformers 3 which I haven't seen yet so I can't judge her acting skill) might be good if her hair was a tad lighter. Maybe Jennifer Lawrence, too, or Dianna Agron.

Ethan.. dude, I don't even know. I love Logan Lerman but he's just not right for the role. MAYBE Steven R. McQueen. Maybe.

Jason Dolley would be perfect for Link, in my opinion.

The people for Macon and Amma looked fine to me, though.

I like all the choices but Lena. Selena Gomez is not who I pictured as Lena. Maybe because I've seen her play more "goofy" characters however Lena does have a goofiness about her. It will be interesting to see how this plays out;)

The choices for Lena and Ethan are completely wrong! Steven R. Mcqueen would be undeniably perfect for Ethan, and I have to say, Lucy Hale would be a MUCH better choice for Lena. Really, she would be the ultimate pick.

I always imagined Ethan with more of a baby face & Link a little more muscular. I kinda prefer Robert Downy Jr. to play Macon, he's more of a dark person which is perfect. And I love Selena Gomez, dnt get me wrong, but i think someone more with a dark attitude would be better. And i always imagined Lena with a long square face. & Taylor Momsen is ok for Ridley. But remeber thers a bunch of other characters.

i have old wallpapers of the book with Emily Browning as Lena and Logan Lerman as Ethen, i think they should deffinately play those roles, selena gomez is ok but not for this movie i think. I love Momson o.o thats an amazing choice. I think Logan and Emily should have the lead roles strongly, ive been imagining them while reading the book as Ethan and Lena and theyd do amazingly. DO ETT! xD

Joseph again... Don't feel like I said my opinion on all the the characters because I was on my iPod.

Ethen - NONONO! I don't even know who this Dylan Patton kid is but he doesn't really look the part. I seriously do think Logan Lerman should be Ethan Wate, so many people expected him to be and so many people will be disapointed if he's not even approached about it... Unless he has been, there should be something explaining that if he has.

Lena - Selena Gomez is an amazing actress, I love her. But, I can't imagine her for this part at all. Same thing with Logan being Ethan, people have expected Emily Browning as Lena Duchannes and I think she'd be very amazing for this role.

Amma - ... Perfect. o.o

Macon - This guy looks a little too young to play this part. That and he isn't dark enough (personality'ish wise) . he'd look very fake playing this role. whoever is in the picture on the Caster Girl Galeries should play him ( http://castergirls.com/galleries/displayimage.php?album=23&pos=7 ) I don't know who he is but he looks awesome for the role. xD

Ridley - OMG o.o... Are you serious!? APPROVE!!! xD

Link - I don't hate the choice, I imagined Link a little more muscular but I don't think Sterling would do bad, I can deal with this one.

They already had an amazing cast picked out, why not just stick with them, they'd do so perfectly! ( http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/beautifulcreatures5byle.jpg/ )... Except Ridley xD I don't care whether they use Momson or the chick that was already chosen, I think they'd both be perfect xD in looks anyways, I know Momson can act, she already fits the role though.

Hmm lets start with Selena, she doesn;t fit the role AT ALL, she fits one of two roles right now; tomboy and rebellious borderline sociopathic teenager that still manages to not curse, drink, or do drugs. I doubt the heroine in any movie now-a-days is going to be remotely like that. And Dylan?... No... Just no, he doesn't fit Ethan at all... Nothing left to say about that. But Taylor Momson o.o.... OMG -fangirlgasm- YUSS!!!

I don't really none of the characters, especially Dylan Patton, Selena gomez & Sterling Knight.
I though Ethan was gonna be an emo hunk,Lena good-looking (like Lucky Hale, Emily Browning, & Link like a Jock tall kinda hunk but not better than ethan look.

I read the first 2 books & the caracters in the movie should be more wow! but gross Dylan Patton, Selena Gomez I know her & she is terrible actress & ugly, Sterling Knight 2 naive 2 have the Link paper, they all suck

Ethan and Lena look ALL WRONG, if this was the official casting list I would be so disappointed. I definitely agree with whoever said Steven R. McQueen for Ethan - he looks PERFECT for the part.

And for Selena Gomez, I will flip out if she's in another movie. She's so over rated and we need a fresh face, not some beloved Disney Channel star that gets all the publicity.

Not sure how I feel about Sterling Knight though; he looks just like my interpretation of link but then again he's an over rated Disney Channel star. Different actor with similar looks would be better (:

As for the rest, PERFECT! I actually imagined Taylor Momsen as Ridley in my head anyway, so I'm glad she's on the list!

i WOULD NOT go see this movie if Gomez is Lena and that other guy is Ethan, even if this is my favorite movie. Knight would be okay for Link. Honestly, I LOOK MORE LIKE LENA THAN GOMEZ. (sorry but true) and as for Ridley, it will be cool if Avril Lavinge played the part even if she might be a bad actor.
