In honor of the super exciting news that Sherrilyn Kenyon recently announced (insert fan girl squee!!!), the Dark Hunters Series are up next in our Casting Call. If you missed the big news, check out this YouTube video:
As all DH fans are aware, there are a TON of characters. So we picked 5 women and 5 men to get the ball rolling. This Casting Call is going to have a slightly different format - we've chosen our top 3 picks for each character in the form of a picture poll. Choose which one of ours you like the best AND then comment below with your own choice. Be sure you include a link to their picture so everyone knows who you're talking about. Let's keep this fun and try to respect that everyone has a different opinion.

Pauley would make a perfect Simi!! I like your suggestions. I can't beleive it's going to be a television series. I'm so excited!

I could not agree more. Every time I see Pauley, I see Simi. She can rock the look and have this child like enthusiasm that Simi has and kind of a sing songy voice as well. She will be the perfect Simi.

Chris Hemsworth would be a better Acheron. If Travis fimmel still had long hair and a few years younger !!!!!!

Travis Fimmel is definitely NOT working as Ash. That baby face is not nearly intimidating enough. Chris might be a good choice but I can't see him as Ash really. Something is missing...

Kyle might make a better Nick than Kyrian.
Christian can work for Talon. He kinds of look the part.
Alex would make a better Val than Zarek.

I believe in order for this tv series to work the actors need to be new and fit the part. Although Chris Hemsworth would be a lovely candidate for Acheron, people would associate him with Thor. There needs to be new blood all around, no stereo-typed characters already in major roles

I think that Daniel Gillies might also make a good Valerius.
Pauley Perrette is definitely Simi
Ben Barnes might pass for Vane or Fury
Tom Wellingtong will work well as a Squire
Kyle Schmid can pass as Nick or maybe even Zarek
Paul Telfer would make a good Fang
Emmanuel Dalcour is the closest yet I could come to someone that can do justice to Ash. The sexy and intimidating look is hard to combine in one person
Jackson Rathbone will work well as Caleb (CON)
Bradley James will work well as maybe Ethon or even Kyle Peltier. He will even make a good Deimon...
Christian Kane can make a good Zarek as well or Thorn maybe...
Alex I am still debating over. He might work for a few guys...
Jensen Ackles might work well as Kyrian.
