I would like to change places with Merry from the Meredith Gentry series by Laurell Hamilton. I enjoy reading about Fae and to be part of that other world would be beyond words. Not to mention having Darkness, and Frost as partners ;-)

I would trade places with Jane Eyre because I relate with her so well. I'm the kind of person who can go through total hell and come out of it with my heart just as gentle and delicate and full of love as it was before anything happened. I'm also the kind of person who attaches myself to only one person at a time and believes in both romance and true love despite any circumstances.

If I were to switch places with a character from a novel, it would defintely be Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. I would love to experience the poise, and drama of life during this time in the novel. I admire being part of a romance/love story from the fact that something that can be captured if only an individual is able to escape the warping effects of hierarchical society. Being Elizabeth and in the end realizing that true love is a force separate from society and one that can conquer even the most difficult of circumstances is a life tuely worth experiencing!!

I would love to be Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. Not only because she lived in times that were somewhat simple in contrast to today's terms but most importantly because Mr. Darcy loved her so completely! A love story in which she never thought that she was going to find her one true love and would have to settle on someone she did not love to sustain her and her family. Elizabeth, however, proves to be a woman who will not give in to the will or desires of others and finds just what she is looking for in Mr. Darcy.
