Three Vampire brothers chose to walk away from the family they grew up with, and the Order that controlled their lives. Alexander Roman has no intention of ever returning, but that all changes the day he meets Dr. Sara Donohue.

When a strange man shows up on her doorstep, Sara warily helps him. After all, she has dedicated her life to helping those with traumatic memories. His tale is ridiculous and impossible to believe, except… she has seen things. Things that convince her Alexander just may be telling the truth.

Their fierce attraction cannot be denied, but what could ever come of their union?

Alexander Roman is the eldest of three brothers. Tired of the ridged control the Order had over their lives, they have escaped their families, their childhood homes. When his morpho is triggered prematurely, he will have no choice but to face the past.

Dr. Sara Donohue has spent a lifetime trying to make up for one past mistake. She has dedicated herself to patients with traumatic memories in the hopes of curing her brother. She lived and breathed her work, leaving little time for relationships or romance.

Alexander and Sara’s first encounter, while fraught with danger and mystery, leaves no doubt of their hunger for one another. When Alexander confesses the truth, Sara surprisingly, miraculously, believes him.

There is a great danger to the pureblood vampire population which the Order demands Alexander take care of. There is also an ex-patient stalking Sara. Will true love prevail or will the flame be snuffed out before it can even be lit?

What I especially loved about this book is the possessiveness normally seen in the alpha males is present in both. Sara wants Alexander with near desperation and is extremely jealous at the thought of him with another. Their lust at first sight turns wonderfully into love, despite all the obstacles and danger that lie in their way. Laura Wright’s vampire mythos is just different enough to be refreshing and new, not the same old vamp story. Eternal Hunger is a sexy vampire story with a twist!

Look for the 2nd book in the series, Eternal Kiss, which is out now. The 3rd book, Eternal Captive, is slated for release February 2012.
